CRIM 3355 - Serial Murder Investigations

This course is an advanced elective for criminology majors and minors. This class is designed to examine the various theories and explanations of serial murders in U. S. society. There will be an emphasis on history, myths, public fascination, as well characteristics, motivations, and typologies of serial murderers. There will also be an emphasis on criminal profiling through the use of case studies, film, television, popular books and other popular media.
