MATH 1023D - Intermediate Algebra

The curriculum includes a review of introductory algebra concepts, quadratic equations, factoring, rational expressions, complex fractions, roots, radicals, absolute value equations and inequalities, and functions. Required for students whose academic placement results indicate a need for additional skill development. Upon successful completion of MATH 1023D, the student will be enrolled in MATH 1311 . This is the first course in the Accelerated College Algebra series. Laboratory time is required. The semester credit for this course does not apply to credit hours required for graduation.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of MATH 1013D - Introductory Algebra  or demonstrated mastery of the concepts covered in MATH 1013D .
