Chanters is the main touring choir of McMurry University. It consists of students from all areas and majors who enjoy performing demanding choral literature ranging from the traditional to the experimental. Performance opportunities include numerous local and area performances in churches, schools, and community concerts, and touring each semester is expected. Fall travel typically involves a retreat weekend and another weekend tour; the spring semester is an extended tour of several days or more. Membership is determined by audition.

Prerequisites: Permission of Instructor.
