NURS 4364 - Health Behaviors: Promotion and Prevention

This course will review theory, research and & methods for health promotion, protection, and prevention of disease and injury. This course will outline behaviors that will equip the professional nurse to increase and ingrain healthy lifestyles into her/his practice in order to better educate individuals, health care providers, and populations. In addition, this course will help the professional nurse develop policies that utilize Healthy People 2020 National Health Objectives for their communities and its constituents.
