CRJS 3323 - CybercrimeUG Credit Hours: 3
Explores legal issues and challenges faced by the criminal justice system in response to computer / cyberspace criminal investigations. Emphasis is placed upon various forms of crime perpetrated in cyberspace. Topics include forms of electronic criminal activity, enforcement of computer-related criminal statues, constitutional issues related to search and seizure, privacy concerns, application of the First Amendment in cyberspace, and laws pertaining to electronic surveillance.
Prerequisites: CRJS 1311 and CRJS 1313 . Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0
Note: This course available only to students enrolled in the McMurry Online Degree Program and majoring in Criminal Justice.
