CURR 4355 - Planning, Curriculum, and Assessment in Secondary Schools

To be taken the semester before clinical teaching or internship. Development for planning skills, such as creating goals, objectives, lesson plans, and modifying them for special populations in secondary grades; development of an understanding of the curricula and their organization in secondary grades; an introduction to methods of teaching; and the development of skills to create and evaluate assessments. (Required for 7-12 certification)

Prerequisites: CURR 3301, CURR 3302, and student must be in good standing in the Teacher Education Program.
Corequisites: Concurrent enrollment in CURR 4354.
