A course specifically designed to acquaint the prospective teacher with the methods used and the material covered in teaching physical, life, earth and space science in EC-Grade 6 . This course calls for advanced skills in instructional planning and should not be taken early in the major. A hands-on, inquiry-based approach is stressed; students will have opportunities to design and teach science lessons to other members of class. (Required for EC-6 certification)

Prerequisites: Senior standing, and one lab science course.
