SUST 4320 - Conservation of BiodiversityUG Credit Hours: 3
This course will apply the principles of ecology, biogeography, population genetics, and economics to the maintenance of biodiversity. The intent of this course is to discuss the impact of anthropogenic activities on the global and local environment as well as issues that must be considered in efforts to conserve biodiversity. Students will evaluate humanity’s impact on the natural world and the complexities of our efforts to lessen that impact.
Prerequisites: BIOL 1307 and BIOL 1107 . Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0
