COSC 3330 - Fundamentals of NetworkingUG
Credit Hours: 3
Required for COSC major, IT major and minor, and elective for COSC minor. Topics include methods of data transmission, hardware systems, error detection, network architecture and protocol definition. Application studies include satellite services, choosing voice data switches and LAN configuration. Students must have a laptop computer.
Prerequisites: COSC 1340 , or COIS 2350 .
