CRIM 3375 - Crimes of the PowerfulUG

This course is an analysis of the criminal behavior of social elites. Rather than crimes of individuals, the primary focus of this course is on the crimes of organizations such as political corruption, corporate crimes against consumers, workers, and the environment, and state crimes of foreign policy. The crimes of powerful individuals will be studied in the context of their positioning within powerful organizations.
Prerequisites: CRIM 1315 , CRIM 2315 and SOCI 1310 .
