MMAP 3310 - Digital Video I

Upper level elective for Theatre majors. An introduction to the techniques of capturing digital video through the use of video cameras and downloading for use in non-linear editing on a computer for a variety of video skills tests including basic editing, applying motion key-frames, titling, transitions, filters, voice-overs, compositing, and chroma-key. Students will create projects including interviews, commercials, music videos, live performances and documentaries. Students will learn how to compress video for use in various formats including video for web sites and digital video disks.
