MUED 3114 - Flute and Saxophone MethodsUG

The basic principles involved in playing flute and saxophone, with an emphasis on pedagogy. Course involves observations of be- ginning woodwind classes in local schools, writing lesson plans, single reed adjustment, embouchure development, fingerings for each instrument, as well as graded literature for each instrument.
Prerequisites: Admission as music major, or permission of instructor.
