Required of all Choral Music Education majors. A study of the advanced skills of conducting, including knowledge of literature, understanding of programming, understanding of rehearsal techniques found successful at a variety of grade levels, group motivation, score reading, advanced baton/hand techniques, professional organizations, competitions and administrative details specific to directing a choral education program.

Prerequisites: MUED 3220, admission as music major, or permission of instructor.
