A study of the general music methods for primary and intermediate grade levels. This course emphasizes the practical application of the student’s knowledge of music as applied to lower grade levels. Time will be spent also applying educational rubrics of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills and National Standards for Music Education into lesson planning.
Prerequisites: MUED 1305 , admission as music major, or permission of instructor.
