A study of the methods of teaching voice, including areas of anatomy, acoustics, literature and psychology of singing. Will include a survey of the history of vocal production from 1600 to present; special emphasis given to vocal training methods and styles currently in use.

Prerequisites: MUTH 1330, MUTH 1340, admission as music major, or permission of instructor.
